Valance and Flap Configurations
- The mudflap width (dimension X+ or Y+) must cover the total tyre breadth (dimension X or Y)
- The mudflap should not be more than 300mm from the rear of the tyre.
- The bottom of the mudflap should not be more than 200mm from the ground, although this can be increased to 300mm for the rearmost flap on a RoRo trailer.
- Additional mudflaps need to be installed on multiaxle vehicles if the distance between the tyres exceeds 250mm.
